Education Workshops & Seminars

The TIC collaborates with local and national experts to host educational opportunities for portfolio companies as well as the startup community. Informative seminars are provided on a variety of topics on a periodical basis. The TIC also partners with the local entrepreneur-support community to hold business conferences and events such as the Startup Maryland Pitch Bus and Women in Business Day.

Networking

The TIC helps portfolio companies become successful by engaging networks of local businesses and investors inside and outside the community. The TIC will introduce and connect to appropriate entities for the mutual benefit of both parties.

Marketing/PR

The TIC will work with portfolio companies to promote and market their products and services. Many entrepreneurs have an innovative idea but need help strategizing the promotional side of business. The TIC also works with the media and portfolio companies to encourage great public relations from the start.
